Bowen Therapy International (BTI) was created to further the Milton J. Albrecht interpretation of Tom Bowen's work. We are embarking upon a seminar schedule aimed at healing professionals, but also open to those wishing to learn a modality which may give them new direction.

This modality helps people feel better, by balancing the autonomic nervous system. Whether they are infants, aged, disabled or fantastically fit, this amazing healing treatment re-educates the body to function more efficiently, creating healing, good health and well-being.

Bowen Therapy International currently offers three instruction groups encompassing four levels of Bowen Therapy, and all are presented several times throughout the year.

The Levels l-lll are taught by Racheal Albrecht Goodrich on the West Coast and Gene Hummel, and Cheryll Hillier on the East Coast.

Level l & ll Beginning Seminar
This workshop style seminar consists of 28 hours, and all students receive a diploma of participation. In this class, the basic moves are demonstrated and then continually drilled so students acquire individual confidence and learn to trust in their abilities. The theory and application of each move is thoroughly explained in consecutive lessons, and this teaches the student to clarify and comprehend Bowen's philosophy. Students receive an instruction manual written entirely by Milton J. Albrecht and the cost is $750.

Level lll Certification Class
After satisfying a specific set of requirements, beginning practitioners may enroll in this unit at a cost of $450. After a quick review of the beginning material, students must pass both written and practical exams. The remainder of the class is devoted to introducing new material, including several physical exercises designed to improve the client's ability to heal.

Level IV Advanced Seminar
This two day seminar includes extensive advanced material formulated entirely by Milton Albrecht. During his thirteen year career, Milton continually examined and researched Bowen's work, producing an extremely useful advanced protocol which he then developed into an advanced level manual. A combination of theory and practical material, presented to the student in a hands-on format, the level IV class has been prepared for the practicing Bowen therapist. The cost is $700 and is open to anyone holding a Bowen Therapy International certificate.
